It was such an honor to be asked to photograph Dan and Mary’s wedding! We’ve known both of them for a long time and it was impossible to be a part of their event without taking multiple trips down memory lane. Both these two were in school with my two younger brothers. Dan and my brother, Don, were friends throughout their school years and Dan spent a good deal of time at our house as a kid. So many great memories! The vendors and guest-list was full of home-town friends, both new and those from “back when” and we really enjoyed reconnecting with so many great people.
The Barn at Mader Farm was a new venue for us and has quickly become one of our favorite places to shoot. Although this was our first wedding here, it wasn’t the first time Chris has been to the farm. To add to our “Memory Lane” experience, Chris used to deliver fuel to the farm before he was a photographer and it was an event venue. He was excited to see what they have done with the farm since then and was not disappointed! There were so many great photo possibilities and the space was decorated beautifully. There were also tons of options available for guests and we were impressed by how comfortable and relaxed everyone seemed to be.
Then there was the sunset. Dan and Mary had requested sunset photos, which are Chris’ absolute favorite. WOW! The sunset we were blessed with was incredible! We’re super excited about these images and think they may be our new favorites. It was hard to choose just a few to share here.
Overall, the day was just plain fun and we had a blast being a part of Dan and Mary’s day! We are super happy for them and wish them the best in their life together!
Here are a few of our favorite images from the day.
Warmest Wishes,
Chris and Jeannette
